Pop Art
Movement in modern art that imitates the styles, methods, and themes of mass media/pop culture. For example, comic strips, advertising and science fiction.

Dadaism
A form of artistic anarchy born out of disgust for the social, political, and cultural values of the time it was invented in. It embraced elements of poetry, theatre, music, art, politics and dance. Dadaism was seen as a protest movement with an antiestablishment manifesto.

Photomontage
The process & result of making a composite photo by cutting, gluing and rearranging/overlapping two or more photos into a new image.

Rule of Thirds
Lining up the subject with a guide line and their intersection point, placing the horizon on the top or bottom line, or allowing linear features in the image to flow from section to section.

Perspective Photography
Placing the subject in front of or near an object in order to make the object appear to be bigger or smaller.

Distortion (optics)
Bending the cameras view in order to distort what the viewer sees, lenses can be used to do so.
